Our pool

An Olympic pool on the school grounds

Located on the Trinity Anglican School White Rock Campus, the TAS Aquatic Centre features an Olympic sized swimming pool. Its versatile design allows for FINA-approved long course and short course competitions, water polo and learn to swim classes. Ramp access opens the facility to swimmers with special needs.

The facility's five pool heaters keep the water warm, even on cool winter mornings. Change rooms and bathroom facilities are on site.

The TAS Aquatic Centre has a reputation for high quality swimming lessons, and all staff continually update their skills to stay abreast of changes and trends in the swimming field.

Our programs

Your swim journey, lane by lane

Lanes follow the pathway from a first lesson to State and National competition. New Learn to Swim students start with an assessment session, so we can place them in the right level.

Learn to Swim · Level 1

For children who cannot swim but are old enough to be in the water without a parent or guardian. We teach the fundamentals: correct body position on the front and back, correct breathing with head turn in Freestyle, and an introduction to dives and streamlining from the wall.
